ANALYSIS THE EFFECT OF THE QUR’ANIC RECITAL TOWARD THE EEG DATA RECORD USING FOURIER TRANSFORM AND SHORT TIME FOURIER TRANSFORM (STFT)

Al-Qur'an is Allah's commandant. Allah demotes it to manage humans
living and to tell the human what is the different between right and wrong.
Because of that, it needs to get a scholar research that can prove the effect of the
Qur'anic recital in human body especially in their brains.

The function of brain's lobe that was given a recital Qur'anic was shown in
recording of EEG data record. Recording of this data, takes 30 minutes but this
research was used transition data in minute 8 until 10.

Fourier Transform (TF) and also Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT)
were used as tools to analyze this data record. We can get frequency information
and when the frequency appearing with theses tools.

EEG data record which has been analysed include 5 university students
with age between 20 and 30 years old. All of them are mans. Every subject were
given 3 step. These steps are silent, giving recital Qur'anic and the last is silent
again.

Data record EEG were analysed used TF and STFT with hamming
windows 128. the result show that all subject use their right brain. And then,
domination of 5 subject is delta wave and after subjects have listened the recital
Qur'anic, theta wave and alpha wave appearing. Recital Qur'an have been used are
Al-A'raaf ayat 40-47 and Al-Baqarah ayat 255-257 and 285-286.

MATLAB, Software that i use to analyze brainwave

MATLAB is the language of technicall computing. I use this software cause it is easy to use. I just use a toolbox digital signal processing, actually about FFT, DFT, and also specgram. Just try it, you will enjoy it..

MY BRAIN AND RECITAL AL-QUR'AN

At the first time we read the title, I’m sure that in our mind we will think “what that’s mean?” Let me introducing to myself first. My name is Putrisia Hendraningrum Adhiyati. People called me Pucan. I was born in Bengkulu, 22 years a go. And now I am dedicated myself to be a writer. And this topic is about my research when I have been graduated from Gadjahmada University. This is all about our Brain and also Al-Qur’an.


We all know from Wikipedia that brain is the center of the nervous system in all vertebrate and most invertebrate animals.[1] Some primitive animals such as jellyfish and starfish have a decentralized nervous system without a brain, while sponges lack any nervous system at all. In vertebrates the brain is located in the head, protected by the skull and close to the primary sensory apparatus of vision, hearing, balance, taste, and smell.
