At the first time we read the title, I’m sure that in our mind we will think “what that’s mean?” Let me introducing to myself first. My name is Putrisia Hendraningrum Adhiyati. People called me Pucan. I was born in Bengkulu, 22 years a go. And now I am dedicated myself to be a writer. And this topic is about my research when I have been graduated from Gadjahmada University. This is all about our Brain and also Al-Qur’an.
We all know from Wikipedia that brain is the center of the nervous system in all vertebrate and most invertebrate animals.[1] Some primitive animals such as jellyfish and starfish have a decentralized nervous system without a brain, while sponges lack any nervous system at all. In vertebrates the brain is located in the head, protected by the skull and close to the primary sensory apparatus of vision, hearing, balance, taste, and smell.
To know the relationship about recital Al-Quran and also ours Brain, I took 5 sample data record EEG from my friends’ brains. I took 30 minutes sample data record EEG, this was divided into 3 part:
1. Silent phase (0-8) minute
2. Listening to the recital Al-Qur’an (8-23) minute
3. Final Silent phase (23-30) minute In all this data, I just took the transition phase from silent phase into listening to the recital Al-Quran in minute 8 until minute 10.
We analyze the brainwave that occurs when recital Al-Qur’an is listened. And the results of this research are:
1. Delta wave occurs powerfully dominant in 5 samples after they are listening to recital al-Quran.
2. Alpha wave occurs in the third minute when recital al-Qur’an is listening.
3. Al-Qur’an can active right bran all samples.
